PRAY

 

2 Corinthians 12:9
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Today at 3pm, I prayed and asked to bask in God’s blessings and love today. I didn’t want to petition for things or answers from God as He is my LORD who knows exactly what I need. Thanks O LORD for steering my life for I am in no better hands than Yours.

Then at 5pm, I received God’s message to me: “I know your life appears to be spinning out of control. I know exactly what I’m doing in your life. I see and know the things you are going through, but if you will begin to see your life from a different perspective you will notice there is beauty even in the midst of these difficult days.”

Yes it is so human to focus on the discomfort of my life’s difficulties and I’ve forgotten about God’s sovereign hand allowing everything I am experiencing for my good and His glory.

By making my problems my focus, I was easily discouraged and forgot I have a God who sustains me. When I changed my perspective, and made God the object and the focus of my life, I again experienced the peace that comes through a life of trust.

Dear Lord, I confess I’ve turned my attention to my trials and my comfort. Forgive me and lift my perspective, my eyes and my heart towards You in heaven. Show me the beauty in the midst of these difficulties. I thank You for letting me experienced Your Peace and Your Love each day in the midst of my current trials. I thank You for this life and all You have provided. In Jesus’ Name I bless You and pray, Amen.

“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”
